Hillary Gwaze from Infood Coffee Roastery was the winner of the Barista Competition with last year’s winner, Raymond Roesstorff from Wiesenhof Coffee second.
The Barista Specialty Awards went to:
⭐️ Best Milk Beverage and Signature Drink: Hillary Gwaze – Infood Coffee Roastery (right)
⭐️ Best Espresso: Raymond Roesstorff – Wiesenhof Franchise (left)
⭐️ Best Technical: Mpumelelo Adams – Mastertons Coffee & Tea Specialists (middle). Mpumelelo also came third overall in the competition.
All three baristas have qualified for the National Coffee Competitions at Hostex in March 2020 in Johannesburg.
Kyle Grebe from Coffee Boys came first in the Cup Tasters Competition with Chris Faragher from Coffee Boys / Holiday Coffee second. Both Kyle and Chris, have qualified for the National Coffee Competitions at Hostex in March 2020 in Johannesburg.
Earl Higgins from Coffee Boys won the Cup Tasters Competition with Raymond Dzinemarira from Infood Coffee Roastery (in picture above) came second. Both have qualified for the National Coffee Competitions at Hostex in March 2020 in Johannesburg.
